Toyota Aygo is the Perfect Urban Supermini

If you have been even vaguely aware of your surroundings then you may have noticed that here is a new small hatchback that seems to be popping up just about everywhere imaginable. The model in question is the new Toyota Aygo, which has been backed by a tidal wave of enthusiastic press releases, fantastic reviews in the media and an overwhelming amount of commercial success. All of these accolades are extremely rare and desirable for a car which for all intents and purposes, is built to an alarmingly low budget.

This doesn't mean that the Aygo is dangerous or poorly built, it merely means that it has been designed to be cheap so that it can be one of the most competitively priced superminis on the market. It is quite difficult to distinguish between cutting corners and stripping down to pass the saving on to the customers, but I will definitely give the Aygo the benefit of the doubt in this particular matter.

The driving experience is where the Aygo truly comes into its own, providing the perfect kind of urban manoeuvrability and speed in low revs to get you round even the tightest of bends. A spacious cabin and sufficiently loud stereo is a huge boon for the younger drivers amongst us.

All in all I would recommend the Toyota Aygo to learner or new drivers, who are predominantly going to be spending Saturday afternoons tootling round the shops. Though second hand bargains can be found if you keep your eye on the Used Toyota market.
